The “national construction agenda”, that is, the great decisions made to construct more and better in Chile are of high interest to Empresas Tecsa.

In this respect, our company does not only participate with its works in Chile and abroad but also actively participates in the ideas and decisions that make Chile grow. This is represented in our active participation in the Chilean Chamber of Construction (CChC). This important construction association is currently presided by Otto Kunz, civil engineer from Universidad de Chile and one of our board directors in Empresas Tecsa. In addition, the manager of Constructora Tecsa is the Chairman of the Board of the Technological Development Corporation (CDT). Many professionals related to Tecsa, as Advisers of the Chamber, contribute with the best of them to the development of construction.

Proyex

Empresas Tecsa has a well-defined philosophy of contribution to corporate development, shown in its actions. Healthy competition with other great construction companies is also a motivation to look for perfection not only in its own management, but also in the entire construction sector.

Following these principles, in the middle of 2003, Proyex was born, a report with the objective of provinding a corporate contribution from Tecsa to the world of construction.

-	Proyex I, july 2003 Requesting party / constructor relation: TRUST, THE BEST BASIS FOR YOUR PROJECT Many investors consider a fatality the non-compliance of the deadlines and estimated budgets for the construction of their projects. For TECSA, the answer is in a project management model that guarantees transparency in terms of responsibilties, deadlines, quality, and of course, cost reduction.

-	Proyex II, july 2004 Empresas Tecsa: SATISFACTION IS QUALITY In construction, investors know there is nothing more profitable and satisfactory than works executed on time and with quality. For this reason, EMPRESAS TECSA has quality as a basic ethic-corporate principle.

-	Proyex III, november 2004. Requesting party, contractor, and sub-contractor: PREVENTION OF LABOUR ACCIDENTS, RESPONSIBILITY OF EVERYBODY AND BENEFITS FOR EVERYBODY In terms of risk prevention, to further comply with the law is fundamental to Empresas Tecsa when safeguarding its workers and optimising performance for the requesting party. This brings benefits for the workers, the compliance of the execution deadlines, and the final results of the project.

-	Proyex IV, juny 2005 In times of construction sector growth: CONSIDERATIONS WHEN HIRING A CONSTRUCTION COMPANY The high increase in the construction sector brings along a topic that has to be considered by investors and businessmen who are about to start a project: good and serious construction companiescould be not enough to cover demand. This implies a possibility to increase risks and trasnform a good project into several problems.

-	Proyex V, november 2005 Requesting party / contractor conflict: TO CONSTRUCT CAN BE PLEASENT Intentions are always good, but it comes the moment of taking a project into reality, we find surprises. The requesting party feels that its expectations were not met; the contractor considers that payment did not compensate the effort. How to avoid those unconfortable issues that are common to the construction world?.
