Empresas Tecsa has also been concerned about its workers’ training and safety, something that has meant recognitions from both big companies and clients to Tecsa in several occasions.

In 2002, División El Teniente from Codelco recognised Empresas Tecsa with the award “A Million Men Hours without Disabling Accidents”, which shows the high concern about the workers’ safety.

The same year, the company obtained the award “Competitive Company Certification”, given by the Mutual de Seguridad from the Chilean Chamber of Construction.

Next year, División El Teniente from Codelco awarded Tecsa for accomplishing “A Million Men Hours without Disabling Accidents”, which showed one more time the strong commitment with each of its workers’ safety.

In addition, in 2004, Empresas Tecsa obtained “Quality Award from the Chilean Chamber of Construction” for the work “Reposición Cause de Relaves Río Cachapoal”.

This recognition is given by a jury constituted by the highest construction authorities in Chile.
